Refund policy

We have a 7-day change-of-mind return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We only accept returns for products in Australia.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened, with tags and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items use a transparent tamper-evident VOID seal, if the seal is broken or removed, the product is considered to be opened and not acceptable for change-of-mind returns.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@evabtech.com. We aim to respond within 1-2 business days. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 26 Broadhurst Road, Ingleburn New South Wales 2565, Australia

Online store ONLY – NO CUSTOMER WALK-IN

If your return is accepted, we will provide details on where to send your package. Please note that customers must pay and organise their own return shipping through your chosen carrier. We recommend using a trackable service. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

If your return is declined upon arriving, the customer may choose to have the item returned at their expense. If return shipping is not paid within 14 days, the item may be considered abandoned and disposed of or kept by us.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@evabtech.com.

Warranty and Australian Consumer Law
This policy applies to change-of-mind returns. We offer a 3-month warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected. Products that are faulty, misrepresented, of unacceptable quality or don't last a reasonable amount of time will be handled according to your consumer guarantee rights, including return shipping at our expense.

This includes manufacturing defects, faults and quality issues such as LED failures, solar panel malfunctions, waterproofing failures (IP65 rating) under normal weather conditions, battery defects and structural defects under normal use.

However, our warranty and Australian Consumer Law guarantees do not cover damage from certain scenarios such as misuse, abuse, impacts or physical force, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function, extreme weather events or damage from pests/animals.

Warranty and Australian Consumer Law Claims: Contact us at support@evabtech.com with your order number, photos of the issue and a description of the problem. If your claim is approved, we will replace or refund the product and cover return shipping costs.
